Ted and I taught at Columbia Basin Job Corps.  We were both in Viet Nam in 1969.  Ted took me fishing in his bass boat.  Mark Freese

I was in home room with Teddy at L.C. I rememeber when we were sophomores, the principal came around to introduce himself...."I'M ABRAHAM LINCOLN PARKER!" Obviously trying to impress us with the fact that he was named after a president. When iit was the studdent's turn to say their name, Teddy jumped to his feet and, in a voice at least as loud as Parker's pronounce, " I'M TEDDY, THEODORE, ROOSEVELT ALSUP!!" It Teddy had my vote as one of the good guys from then on....

Teddy was definately one of the good guys.  We grew up three blocks apart.  Teddy always had a laugh and was always up for a game of ball.  Most of us didn't know Teddy's full name until Graduation Night at Libby, when our full names was read.  I remember several of us looking at each and saying, "Theodore Roosevelt?"
