I remember Vince as a friend who was easy to talk to and seemed genuinly interested in others.  While we were not close friends, we were in the same homeroom and had lots of nice chats.

This is another guy that was a friend and I know his family and friends in the Nortwest will miss him greatly. Vince did not hang out with me a lot. He did however play on the basketball and football teams with me at Libby and ran track with me at Libby and LC. He was a very kind guy, never judged me or my friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and it makes me very sad to know he has passed away. Again my regrets to his friends and family. Vince will be missed by so many of us.

Vince talked me into attending scuba diving classes with him at the YMCA in 1959.  I'm glad he did as we had many adventures with the diving club in the various lakes around the Inland Empire.  Sadly, college and the army separated us and I only continued diving occasionally when I moved to Seattle to attend the U.  He was my first friend when I moved to Spokane in 1959.
