Pat was one of my best friends at Libby and LC. We shared many classes. He was smart, athletic, and humerous. I saw him at the reunion a few years ago when he was already affected by his Parkinson's Disease. He was a great friend and I will miss him.

I knew Pat at Libby and LC, but only as an acquaintance.  I got to know him in our 20's when we worked together at Ron's Drive-In on East Sprague.  He was a bit of a rebel with a great sense of humor, and we laughed a lot during our shifts.  He was quite the lady's man at the time, and I enjoyed his stories.  A good man and a good spirit.  Rest in peace, my friend.

I knew Pat since our days together at Sheridan (now Frances Scott) Elementary.  He was a great guy, accomplished in many ways, and a real role model for me.  I'll always remember his warm smile in 2014 after a 50 hiatus.

I remember Pat from Libby.  He was good guy.  We didn't have opportunity to interact much at LC.

RIP -  Rest in Power.

I just read about Pat's passing & I'm trying to hold back my tears 😭 Last talked with Pat @ Libby gathering @ Baggs place in the Valley for LC's 50th, and it was like time had stood still as it was like the good ol' days with Pat "on the other side the tracks" @ Libby or the LC lunchroom! talking about PE with Lister, wood shop with JFT, T i e r n e y "See me don'tcha?" πŸ˜† or "Zeus"  @ Libby, and great years together as Tigers. We were best buddies as teenagers & I will always remember Pat for his voice, smile, wit, humor, discussions about girls & friendship πŸ‘ We talked about his battle with his brave fight with Parkinson's, also, and he knew it would get him one day. I missed not seeing him @ our 55th, but he kept the old man out for another 7 years, a tribute to his love for people & the joy of living!  The pain is over my ol' buddy & it will take some time to get past losing Pat, as it will for his family & friends, but everything will fine one day as we once again share in life eternal with "I Am" ✝️ "See me don'tcha"? Buddies Forever  .  .  . My sincere sympathies go out to Pat's family & many friends πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ?>?πŸ˜‡

I too was saddened to get the word of Pat's death.  He really did "fight the good fight" for a long time.  I treasure the last time we got to speak, at our 50th Libby/LC reunion in 2014. We were good friends all through our years in school.

It's funny what memories pop up from the distance of all these decades.  In the Fall of 1960, when we were 9th graders at Libby, the school decided to hold a mock Presidential debate.  Somehow, I was chosen to "speak" for Nixon, and Pat for JFK.  I have no idea how the "debate" turned out, but it was a fun exercise.

Years later, at one of our reunions (20th?), we reconnected and had a great time catching up on our lives.  Ironically, I discovered that by that time, Pat had become an active, rock-ribbed, Republican.  Pat was equally surprised and disappointed to find out that I was an equally fervent Democrat!  We shared some good laughs at how life changes, and finds us in new and different places!

Rest in peace, Pat.  And blessings to all his family.

I remember Pat from Libby Jr. High and Lewis and Clark riding the same city bus to school. I was happy we got to see him at Dan's for our 50th reunion. He always had a beautiful smile and love for his classmates will be missed by his family God comfort all of you.
