Steven Lawrence Dean was born November 1, 1945 and passed away May 25, 2001 at age 55 after a courageous 10 year battle with cancer. Mr. Dean was a lifetime resident of Spokane where he attended Gonzaga Prep and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1964. His working career included owner/operator of Dean's Draperies and co-owner of M.D. Enterprises as well as numerous other jobs.  Steve  loved playing poker and was a familiar face around Spokane card rooms. He was and avid NY Yankes fan since age 13. He is survived by Donna Dean, children - Margaret, Shawna and Martha as well as his mother, Yvonee Dean and a number of other close family.
