This is so sad ..... Another friend I have been trying to find for years. Another of the old Libbly, LC gang. Garry Martin, Mike now. If anyone has contact with his family let them know he was a life long friend. I have missed him for a long Tim and feel so sad that we will never be able to share a laugh, memory or beer. He died to young.

I remember Mike as a quiet person with blond hair and how one girl had his heart Chrisann Trusty. I know they had 3 daughters but eventually divorced. Mike was always loyal to people who knew him as a friend and would step in when he thought you were being threatened. I know Denny McDaniel said Mike saved his bacon and respected the fact knowing he had said the wrong thing. Mike will be missed by his daughters and classmates of 1964.

Wow!  Mike Farmer!  You know, I'll never forget his first day at Libby.  He walked into Mr. Lowther's 7th grade math class about thirty minutes into the hour.  He was wearing suntans, a red plaid shirt, and those WHITE BUCKS!!  Immediately there was a big "Ooooohhh," from me and all the punks in the class.  Mike just smiled and sat in his seat.  Well, before the class was over, we saw Mike direct an obscene one-finger salute toward Mr. Lowther, and all at once he was cool, and his relationship with the rest of us juvenile delinquents was solid.

Randy Brooks, Roger Sandvold, Wade Moore, Garry Martin (RIP) and I hung out with Mike over the next several years.  He was the first to marry, to Chrisanne Trusty, and we would go to their house, and drink ourselves silly.  We had many good times with Mike, but we kind of drifted apart, as young friends often do.  I know it's been over 40 years since I've seen him.

May you rest in peace, my old friend.
