Margaret “Peggy” Marie Frankel formerly of Spokane WA passed away May 23, 2006 in Jonesboro GA at age 60. Peggy was born Feb. 13, 1946 in San Francisco Co., CA.
In 1967 I lived in Smyrna, GA. On February 11th, me, my husband and some friends went to the ‘Playboy Club’ in Atlanta, GA, for dinner……..then on to the ‘Sans Souci’ club for drinks and dancing as a celebration of my 21st birthday. While there, I was crowd watching and saw a gal that looked like Peg Frankel sitting at a table with three other gals not far from where our group was sitting. I went over and asked her if she was Peg Frankel, and she said “Oh hi Laurel, what are you doing here?” I told her I was celebrating my 21st birthday – and she was too! A very small world indeed! It was interesting to see she was still in Georgia when she passed.
