John Arthur Lundin

John Arthur Lundin entered into the presence of his Lord Jesus on Saturday, April 21st, 2012. John was born in Spokane, Washington on January 5, 1946, the only son of Arthur and Lorraine Lundin, and elder brother to Lorraine Lundin. For the past 20 years, he has enjoyed residency at Hayden Lake, Idaho. John graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1964 and he served in the Army until his honorable discharge in 1969. After his military service, he attended Washington State University and graduated from the College of Hotel and Restaurant Administration; over the years John served in multiple capacities in the hotel industry. While at WSU, John married his high school sweetheart, Terri Peterson on August 23, 1969 and they were blessed to be together for 42 years. In 1975 John brought his family back to Spokane. Shortly thereafter, he ventured into business ownership to support his family and founded a number of "Minit Lube" which he ran until he retired in 1996. John is survived by his sister, his wife Terri, his children and his grandchildren. John loved God, his, family and his country. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, cooking and hospitality toward others. He was a skilled hunter and fisherman, and opened his heart and his home to friends, relatives, and guests. His favorite activity was spending time with his family and friends.

Great friend, John. He had a magnificent horse he rode during high school years, "Big Red", I think he was called. Anyone remember for sure? He was a good rider and he loved that horse. He, Bill Gilson and others were part of a circle of fun during LC days. He was a thoroughly nice guy.
