Robert Lowell Meenach MSGT USAF (Retired) Born June 13, 1946 – died January 26, 2013. Bob was born to Dorothy E. Madson and Lewis B. Meenach on June 13, 1946, in Ritzville, WA. He passed away following a 13 month battle with lung and brain cancer on Saturday, January 26, 2013. He lived in Spokane his entire life except the 18 years he traveled the world while serving in the USAF. A graduate of Lewis and Clark HS Class of 1964, he joined the USAF in April 1966 and retired after 24 years in February 1990. Following his retirement from the USAF, he went to work for the Division Technology Center, Kaiser Aluminum Mead Plant, from June 1990 until February 2000. Following his retirement from Kaiser Aluminum he went to work at the Shadle Park Wal-Mart as a Pharmacy Tech from January 2002 until forced into medical leave of absence due to his illness. The number one priority in his life was always his family followed by his friends. His hobby interests included amateur radio, the 5th wheel at Waitts Lake, dragging the grandkids around the lake on the knee boards, water skis, or tubes, fishing, traveling, plus his Halloween and Christmas yard art displays. He was a Boy Scout for 45 years and earned the Rank of Eagle Scout in 1962. "Lowell" was preceded in death by his biological father, Robert L. Grischkowsky, and father, Lewis B. Meenach.  He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dianne; his mother, brother, sister, sons and daughters.
