Arlene Louise Neveux Nilsby passed away on October 7, 2008 in Salem OR after a long battle with breast cancer. She was first diagnosed in the early 1980s and fought through it. She enjoyed many wonderful years raising her three children and enjoying a 27-year marriage to Steve Nilsby. Her cancer recurred in the fall of 2007 and Steve cared for her that last year in their home.  Arlene attended Manito Primary School, Jefferson Grade School and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1964. She lived in Auburn WA before moving to Salem OR.
