Erna Vesla Nygaard George, age 63,  passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2009. Vesla was born on March 17, 1946; she attended Irving Grade School and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1964. Following high school Vesla married Donald A. George and went on to attend colleges in Oregon. At the time of her death, Vesla was a resident of Lopez Island, Washington where her husband survives her.
