Douglas Alan Penfield

Douglas Alan PENFIELD, age 69, was born to Mary and Harley Penfield in Yakima, WA, July 29 1946. He worked at Kaiser Trentwood for 30 years as a millwright. He enjoyed fishing, watching all football games and playing card games. Survived by wife of 48 years, Diane at home; son, Dennis Penfield, AZ; granddaughter, Kissandra Ann Murinko, Spokane; brother Gary (Heidi) Penfield, Colbert; sister Carol Moore, Spokane Valley; sisters-in-law, Marliene (Ed) Cheek, Wenatchee and Dorothy (Jay) Knowlton, Sheldon, WA; brother-in-law, Raymond Gardner, Spokane Valley; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He's preceded in death by son Douglas and parents, Mary and Harley. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity . Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 29th - 1:30pm, at the WA State Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake. The Memorial will be at 3:30pm, at Trentwood Union Hall, 14015 East Trent.

Carolyn Jean Hickey (Miller)

​I grew up in the area that Doug did and it is now mostly gone, but do remember the bikes that his Dad repaired. You will be missed and comfort for his family. God bless your family and Memorial was beautiful watching people he served laugh and share good memories.

Randal (Randy) Brooks

Doug had tha ability to be cool and gentle at the same time. Wicked sense of humor and someone that you could always rely on. My sympathy to his friends and family.
