How sad.  Kay was quite an energetic and lovely person.  I remember a very fun ski trip to Whitefish in our senior year.   Bob Blair

I did not know Kay well...mainly through Ti-Girls. I do know, however, she fought hard in the last few years and I certainly admire her strength and determination. Bless you, Kay!

I so enjoyed Kay because she was spunky, always a smile and encouraging to others even when they had trials of divorce, losses in your family and even when she had her own griefs. I send sincere condolences to her family and will miss you Kay and so thank you for time at reunion and always have your footprints that touched alot of us.

I am very sorry to hear of Kay's passing. I know she has been extremely ill. She was always friendly and fun to be with.  Too many classmates are passing...yikes.

Getting to know Kay during the reunion commitee meetings was great.  She looked as beautiful now as she did in high school.  She will be missed.

Kay. What a sweetheart. We were good friends in high school, but I really got to know Kay when my wife was diagnosed with the same nasty disease Kay died from, pancreatic cancer. Our mutual friend, Don Johnson, suggested I call Kay for some insight and support. I did. Even though my wife, Cammy, had only met Kay briefly at a reunion or two, the two of them would talk for an hour or more. Kay was very encouoraging about the possibility of "living with" a terminal diagnosis. I was amazed at her concern and interest in Cammy's condition and progress. So selfless and generous. That generousness says a lot about Kay's character. I was privileged to visit her in Spokane the week before she died. She smiled when I reminisced about the "good old days," and gave me a big hug as I was leaving.  I am so happy to have known her. I wish I had kept closer touch through the years.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Kay's passing. I know that pancreatic cancer is a hard one to beat, but I thought if anyone could do it, Kay could. I so admired her courage over the last several years and wish I could have seen her in person during that time. We had so much fun in Biology at LC, dissecting frogs, etc. We looked like Mutt and Jeff when we walked down the hall together. I was 5'10" and I think Kay was about 5' nothing. That's how I'll always remember her: tiny, fierce and full of energy. Rest in perfect peace, Kay...you deserve it!
