Dennis Bruce Stewart

Dennis Bruce Stewart left us far too early on August 25, 2003 as a result of a tragic car accident. Bruce was born in Seattle on November 8, 1945. He grew up in Spokane and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1964, where he lettered in cross country and was an expert marksman. He attended Washington State University and received a B.A. in History in 1969. In 1970-71 he served his country in Vietnam as a second lieutenant in the Army's 596th Signal Corp. He returned to WSU and earned a second degree in hotel and restaurant management. Upon graduating he worked at the Los Angeles Country Club in Brentwood, CA; then for Amtrak, where he ran the commissary; and for various manufacturing companies as a manager of sales reps. In 1990 he established his own company, Stewart Northwest Industrials.
