DIANE (MEYERS) SMITH, Diane left us on Friday, September 11, 2015. She loved the simple things in life... being outdoors, BBQing, the occasional beer, being with her family and her long-time friend Ron. She was born January 25, 1946, attended Lewis and Clark High School and married in 1963. Diane is leaving behind many memories for her three daughters Cinde, Kathy and Chris. As well as for her grandkids Dan, Steph, Dustin, Nick, Sarah, Salyne and her great-grandkids Devyn, Haylee and Jamison. Service were held September 30th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5810 S. Meadowlane Rd., Spokane, 99224.

I remember Diane from Libby Jr. high and our times at Lewis and Clark. She was always a happy person and like reaching out to others who were shy and apprehensive at meeting new kids after coming from a small town Colville to Spokane which was the best thing that happen to my family and so happy at friendship I gained then are still pretty strong and sorry years get by and we miss opportunities to re-kindle school days. I extend my condolences to her daughters and families and will miss a fellow tiger.
